Why we built the DNA Score
Red/green strength bars are misleading. "Summer2024!" passes most strength meters but is trivially cracked by AI-assisted attacks trained on real password databases.
The DNA Score grades across orthogonal dimensions: absolute entropy, character class coverage, length adequacy, and repeat pattern detection. A password can be long but weak if it repeats segments.
